This page explains what information ShortStay Compass (“we”) collects when you visit shortstaycompass.com. Short version: very little.
What we don't collect
No accounts, no sign-up, no comment or contact forms, and no newsletter list. We don't sell or share personal information. The returns calculator runs in your browser; the numbers you enter aren't sent to us.
Analytics
The site is hosted on Lovable, which provides built-in, privacy-friendly visitor analytics. It records pages viewed, referring site, browser/device type and approximate country, and uses a short-lived first-party cookie (about 30 minutes) to group page views into a visit. We use this only in aggregate to see which pages are useful. No advertising or cross-site tracking.
Hosting and security
Like any website, our hosting and security providers (Lovable and Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
Affiliate links
Some links to host tools (such as Hospitable and Airbtics) are affiliate links. If you click one, that company and its affiliate network may set cookies on their own site to credit the referral. Their privacy policies apply once you leave our site. See our affiliate disclosure.
Emailing us
If you email hello@shortstaycompass.com, we use your message and address only to reply and don't add you to any list.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

We'll update this page if anything changes, and revise the date above.
